CAMPING

The Mason County Fair has two campgrounds available for use during the fair.  The cost is $15 per night, from the day of arrival, and includes water and electric hookups.

Approximately 40 spaces are available in the Livestock Camping area. 

A large number of additional camping spaces are available in the Fair Campground located in the area behind the main stage.

Camping rules for 2011 Mason County Fair

A non-refundable deposit of $75.00 is required prior to November 1, 2010.

The following agreement must be completed and returned with the deposit.

All 2010 livestock campers, who complete the attached agreement and have paid their $75 deposit as of November 1, 2010, will be given priority over those who have never camped in the livestock area.  In the event that the livestock camping area is still full, you will be sent to the camping area behind the stage.

After July 1, 2011, you will receive a letter with your scheduled arrival time on the evening of Thursday, August 4, 2011.  We hope that this will alleviate waiting times for parking campers and number of trips to the fairgrounds.  Times will be set by the order in which the agreement is received.

Campers who have not pre-registered and sent in their deposit will be placed in the camping area behind the stage on a first come, first served basis, after 5 p.m. on August 4, 2011, and after any pre-registered campers are placed in the stage camping area.

*Everyone must show a season pass or they must purchase season passes when they park their campers.

I understand that any and all persons staying in or on my campsite must have a pass and that any director of the Mason County Fair Board may request to view the pass at any time.  Anyone caught without a pass for the day will be removed from the grounds and must purchase a ticket to re-enter the grounds.

No alcoholic beverages or controlled substances permitted on the fairgrounds.

Curfew is 12:00 midnight or 45 minutes after the end of the last event in the area.

An Adult must accompany all children under age 18 after closing of the fair each night in the camper and camping area.

Each owner is responsible for waste disposal and litter control.

Pets must be kept in the camping areas.  No pets are allowed in the fairground area.  Please be considerate of other campers if you have a pet.  Please dispose of their wastes appropriately.

Campers who become unruly or belligerent with the Mason County Fair Board of Director(s) will be evicted from the fairgrounds.  This act can and will result in the camper(s) losing their camping privileges permanently,

Failure to comply with the above rules will be resolved by the owner of the camper vacating the premises and loss of camping privileges for the remainder of the 2011

Mason County Fair.

Please complete the agreement and enclose a $75.00 non-refundable deposit on or before November 1, 2010.  The remaining camping fee due upon parking of camper.

I, the below named, do hereby agree to abide by all rules of the Mason County Fair.  I also hereby release the Mason County Fair from any and all injuries or damages, which may occur while being a camper at the Mason County Fair.
